Hello,
I have just bought the above which includes a satellite seeker. Having never owned a trip meter before the instructions on calibration are a little unclear. My question is as im connecting a satellite seeker do I still need to calibrate it?, the calibration pulley wheels on the front are set to 579. Can anyone offer advice on what they need to be set at if at all with a satellite seeker fitted. Any help is much appreciated.
Yup. 579 for Miles. We reopen again on Wednesday if you need any further advice please give us a ring or send an email and we will be happy to help.
Hi, thank you for your enquiry. When using the International tripmeter with a satellite seeker there is no need to calibrate just use the 579 figure for distance readings in miles. As a side note, you can calibrate the tripmeter should you wish to check the reading against the organisers distance for example. Please see our YouTube video in calibration.
